The facility it's self is very nice. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the front desk, the lady is extremely rude and doesn't make you feel welcome. There was an issue with my card so I called to find out and I've given her my name and she continued to call me Kayla.
I've only been to the front of the center. All our needs have been for the little conference room to the right. The building seems clean, pretty quiet,with great fees and there's always parking available. DOWN SIDE:The staff doesn't interact with anyone unless someone approaches them.
Anthony is a great spin class instructor, the front desk staff is friendly!! I wish there was a sauna and hot tub though, I would donate if there was a fundraising for those. I like this rec center though, it has excellent prices for everything thank you!!
$3 shower and good wifi. Staff was very friendly. Day pass for gym use and shower is only $6. Shower was hot and good water pressure.
Always fun to visit! My kiddos had fun. Wasn't crowded. They loved the lazy river and the kiddy playground. Not too pricey either compared to other aquatic centers we've been to. My son and 2 nieces got in free with 3 paying adults. Which was awesome!
The photos of the pool looked great, but the reality was something else. A lazy river, but no pool noodles or floaty toys which makes it about 90% less fun. Not even a kickboard for the lap pool. Zero places where the kids can jump into the water. There was nobody using the lap pool, but staff wouldn't open the diving board and wouldn't allow the kids to jump in from the side either. My kids love swimming and they absolutely hated this pool, there was no opportunity for them to actually swim as they were only allowed in shallow water. Three lifeguards working but two of them sitting in the office on their phones the whole time. We paid $22 for our family and stayed for about half an hour.

Incredibly limited to the point that one can tell it caters to the highest income bracket more than, for example, kids. Do not expect much change, either, because this has apparently been generationally the case for as long as anyone can remember the Cortez government. A pity since the center, in general, is not that bad looking. If the schedule were more conducive to use by families and not just adults, it would score higher in my book, but a community center like this should focus more on families and less on privilege. But, hey, I never expect anything from the government and, therefore, am never disappointed.
